We were told at our visit my daughter would receive a $500 visa gift card for signing a lease. After she moved in, she inquired multiple times over time about the card and was told it was coming. Finally she was told in fact she did not qualify bc her move in was in August, not May. What?! Why was she told about it in the first place? Similar thing happened with a friend of hers there who was supposed to receive $ off one month’s rent.
Also, be very aware about the noise. If you are on the... exterior facing sides, the road noise from I-35 is extremely loud. You will need a noise machine and/or ear plugs. The ones facing inside (pool area) are loud from people partying in the pool late at night.
The thin walls and floors certainly contribute to this. Also there are construction issues, such as her kitchen sink valves are reversed so the hot and cold are backwards.
The lobby is cute though if you like hanging out in apartment lobbies.
